The 1st National Conference on Mathematics Education (1st NaCoME 2019) was held on November 27, 2019 in Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia. The theme for the conference was"Modeling in Mathematics Instruction: The First Step towards Problem Solving". The main goal of NaCoME 2019 was to provide an opportunity for academicians and professional from mathematics education related field from all over the world to come together and learn from each other. Furthermore, the additional goal is to provide a place for academicians and professionals with multi-disciplinary interests related to education to meet and interact with members inside and outside their own particular disciplines.
Four keynote speakers took part on this conference:
1. Dr. Tan Liang Soon of Academy of Songapore Teachers.
2. Prof. Wono Setya Budhi, Ph.D. of Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.
3. Dr. Yusuf Hartono of Universitas Sriwijaya.
More than 150 presenters and 200 participants joined from all over Indonesia, as well as from other countries, such as Taiwan and Singapore.
Conference Topics
The 1st SULE-IC 2020 brought together researchers, educators, students, and practitioners in the areas of Mathematics, Science, Applications and Technologies in Education from around the world. Topics of interest for submission included, but were not limited to the following tracks:
