Sriwijaya Sports Journal was established on September 9, 2021 with the chief editor Dr. Iyakrus, M. Kes. and Dr. Wahyu Indra Bayu, M.Pd.

On October 27, 2021, ISSN (Print) was successfully registered with the number 2808-5701 and on October 26, 2021, ISSN (Online) was successfully registered with the number 2808-5299.

October 18, 2021, Sriwijaya Journal of Sport has published Volume 1 Number 1, October 2021
